The Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. The disease was first identified and discovered in December 2019 in Wuhan, the capital of China’s Hubei province, and has since spread globally, resulting in the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic.
The nature of flu-type viruses such as the COVID19 means that they can spread incredibly quickly and put employees and employers at risk of getting infected. Precautionary and preventative methods need to be taken and strictly adhered to when dealing with these types of viruses. One of the main concerns is the contamination of surfaces in high traffic environments.

Buildings often need to be treated the same as a human body, applying a solution to prevent (and sometimes cure) an infection. The number one method to do this is via microbial fogging.
Fogging produces microdroplets of disinfectant and biocides that float in the air for around 10 minutes after its application. This means that the solution reaches areas that could not normally be reached through normal methods and studies have proven that this significantly reduces the number of viable infectious pathogens by treating the surface and the air and killing these pathogens. Fogging is also beneficial as it allows us to treat larger areas in a short space of time.
